Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats and trying to keep your expenses low.
If you're like me and get tired of replacing printer consumables every 15 minutes and don't mine wearing a tech guy's hat for a second, here's something I thought I would share.
I found this great website forum for troubleshooting printer problems: http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums
It showed me how to get into the diagnostic controls for my color laser printers (as a repair tech) so I can reset the page counts on the image drums (and other parts) and continue to use them after the printer stops and says they need replaced.
Great way to get the printer working again when you're printing a listing kit at midnight and there aren't any stores open to sell you a new drum.
That and the Okidata's drums I use are generally good for nearly twice their rated life.
Hope this helps.
