 Craigslist Posting Template
By: Darin "Sid" Cameron, CRS
Thu, Aug 2nd, 2007 11:46 pm

Took an idea from one of the new Craigslist Posting sites that's allowing you to have more than 4 photos.

If I upload the listing photos to my own site (or hotlink from the MLS or my IDX site) I can have more than 4 photos on Craigslist too!

So I made an HTML template that makes my posts pretty AND emphasises people should call my 1-800 Number Recordings for a price AND shows 25 photos.

Then I copied the HTML to Word and saved it as a FORM with the text areas that need to be unique to each listing as fields.  (I showed how to do this in May).

An assistant can cut and paste out of the MLS and because it's a FORM it's fool proof enough that the HTML won't accidentally get changed.

Check out my template that's attached!

(EDITOR'S NOTE: The Word Form template has been removed.  Unfortunately it worked TOO GOOD!  There were image files in the HTML that were hotlinking off of my webserver (i.e. the background images, Equal Housing logo, etc).  Contact me and I can email it to you as long as you download the images to your own server.)

Below is an image of what that form looked liked (the gray boxes are fields in the form)...
