Blues Reduce Roster To 26 Players
St. Louis Blues announced today the club has reduced their roster to 26 players. Forwards, Mike Glumac, Magnus Kahnberg, Denis Pederson and Trent Whitfield along with defenseman Mike Stuart were all assigned to the Peoria Rivermen. Forward Denis Pederson Signs with Blues
St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has signed forward Denis Pederson to a one-year contract. Pederson, 31, has played in 435 NHL contests, recording 128 points (57 goals, 71 assists) along with 398 penalty minutes. [ More ]

Cards Name Muckdogs New Minor League Affiliate
In a press conference from Batavia, NY, the St. Louis Cardinals and Batavia Muckdogs announced a new two-year player development agreement that will bring Cardinals baseball to Batavia beginning next season. By aligning with the Muckdogs, St. Louis was able to keep its short-season affiliation within the New York-Penn League. The Cardinals were affiliated with the State College Spikes this past season. Fox TV Changes Cards Start
