Man charged with Home Repair Fraud in St. Louis City and County Arrested
Law enforcement authorities in Maries County on Friday (Sept. 29) arrested a Salem, Mo. man charged with home repair fraud by grand juries in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Dan Sanders faces 11 counts of unlawful merchandising practices contained in an indictment returned in June by the St. Louis County grand jury and two counts of unlawful merchandising practices contained in an indictment returned in May by the St. Louis City grand jury. Federal Government Gives Abram Building to St. Louis City
The City of St. Louis yesterday accepted the deed to the L. Douglas Abram Federal Building in downtown St. Louis from the federal government- thus ending a two year fight with the Rev. Larry Rice who had advocated the building be used as a homeless shelter. The building is expected to be partially converted into a parking garage for the Kiel Opera House and the adjoining ScotTrade Center (formerly the Savvis Center). [ More ]
