Where has 2008 gone? 17 days until Christmas!

So, I've been pretty hectice as the holidays approach...Business is booming, even in the "down market" and uncertain economy.

As we wrap up the year and run out of time for holiday shopping, I am reminded of the priorities in which this season represents, in lieu of the pretty packaging.

In our family, we have decided to commit ourselves to charity by volunteering to help those far less fortunate. With the unstable economy, a small holiday celebration and giving back seems more appropriate.

Tell me some ideas of other ways to give back this holiday season.
