The inauguration has made me think about prioritizing my professional and personal life. Our 44th president said this is "a joyous but also a sobering time". In a time of economic strife and uncertainty, let's relish in this historic day of pomp and circumstance.
We all have a responsibility to participate in this great country. When President Obama basically said it's time to pull ourselves up, dust ourselves off and get busy repairing our country together, I was saying to myself "Right on, absolutely!" LET'S work hard and make this great country even better.
President Obama made a great speech today...he nailed it! Let's hope this is the start of change we've been hearing about throughout his campaign for the presidency (like bi-partisan cooperation). I hope and pray for renewed economic confidence for our country and the safety of our troops.
Let's make 2009 a great year and as we watch this historic presidency blossom.
