Don't forget, if you're on a budget some of the best technology isn't always new.
I just purchased an HP 4100MFP (B/W printer, copier, color scanner) from eBay for $400 with a second paper tray, network card, envelope feeder, duplexer and hard disk for storing documents.
Something like that brand new would have been $1,500-2,500 with those options
Although I needed a cheap copier, the feature I really wanted was that you can put a document in the doc feeder, type in an email address (it has a little keyboard on the control panel) and it will make a color scan and email it to you in a PDF format. It's also quite a bit more robust than what a new $400 printer will buy you.
EBay is also a great source for Supras. I've purchased 9 of them recently and averaged $77/each after shipping (those are $120-150 new).
I also found my last two laptops on eBay (they were refurbished and still current models) -AND- found a sign company that made me RE/MAX "For Sale" directional arrows (customized with my name and phone) at $3.50/each in quantities of 250. They do other companies as well.
My local sign company charges $14 for the same sign.
